Charlotte is an expert in public sector communications with a particular focus on local government, supporting unitary and district councils across the UK to navigate complex strategic, political and organisational challenges.
She advises on governance, committee operations, corporate communications and cultural transformation, helping councils strengthen internal alignment and build the conditions for confident, effective leadership. With a strong emphasis on internal communications and organisational culture, Charlotte works closely with leaders to understand their teams, improve ways of working and embed sustainable change. She has tangible, first hand experience of helping councils create a high performing culture in a political environment, bringing political vision to life through strong and meaningful processes. Her deep understanding of political management and decision-making enables her to guide councils through sensitive issues, competing priorities and the realities of member–officer dynamics. She helps organisations bring people with them through clear, thoughtful narrative-building and strategic engagement, drawing on Cratus Group’s wider expertise.
